Come Alive! Yeah, you'll be singing it also after watching this one. Another "Jingle Classic", part 2 of an ongoing series I'm creating as an online 'short subject' celebration of catchy now-forgotten jingles once popular. Since Promo editing has not been performed lately, this self-project keeps the keyframing / animating skills up to snuff. The soundtrack is re-recorded and enhanced as well. And I don't even drink Pepsi.
On a side note, the musical signature for this site logo id (www.avidvideoeditor.com) was also composed and produced by yours truly. Being a musician helps in animating / cutting to the beat than those lacking natural rhythm (you know who you are), who would find this type of editing a sloppy chore.

"Live Better Electrically" Retrospective. The first in a series of "Jingle Classics". Watch and Hear a restored classic retro jingle / commercial that captivated the viewers of a 1957 General Electric Theater show, hosted by Ronald Reagan. A total trip back in time with UPA-inspired animated television commercials, and print ads that also depict when women wore high heels to cook dinner in their modern electric turquoise-colored GE range (stove), ending with a quite outrageous period ad (not for those 'times') that'll make you hungry for a Fried Chicken Drumstick cooked on your new General Electric range (stove). u-m-m-m-m!

Filmed by me November 4, 2001, depicting the continual cleanup of the World Trade Center disaster area two months after 9/11. Amazing how these once twin towers vaporized into this mass of twisted steel. Of course, if you are an independent thinker, and are scientifically-adept, you know why.
